Florence Young Christian School

This school joined in 2025, with the reason being so that their students will learn how to make and grow a garden.

Teaching garden activities:

Science: Lesson on What do plants need to grow? (sunlight, water and good soil)

Math: Using the garden for addition and multiplication by calculating how much money is needed to buy seeds, and how many rows of peanut we make out of how many heaps of peanut we get from the market.

Health: Recycling plastic cups to plant seeds inside. Using plastic bottles as watering can.

Social study: selling garden crops. How to provide quality goods that are attractive for customers at a good price

Garden activities:

The school has prepared their garden beds, and started planting seeds

Some seeds were also planted at home in pots by the students and then brought to school.
