Navesau School’s existing school garden provides food for boarding students. The farming aspect has been supported by FAO in Fiji. Through the Greening Islands School Project, the garden was connected to teaching activities.
Teaching garden activities:
- The garden was integrated into lessons about planning and enterprising, crop husbandry techniques, traditional way of planting taro, measuring area and perimeter, and measuring rate of growth.
