This lesson involves taking students for a walk around the local environment observing the plant life and identifying differences between different plants to ensure they have a respect for their environment and help them to understand how humans impact it. Includes activities for the students to complete and covers two lessons

Lesson: Cycles in Nature

This lesson involves a physical demonstration by the teacher followed by class discussions. A video is played (links provided with options) then a worksheet is completed. The main themes are around the water cycle and the nitrogen cycle.

Lesson: A bee is not just a bee

This lesson involves reading and analysis of text by the teacher and students with the aim to encourage students to understand the impacts they make on the environment and how theat affects bees. Students are required to research and create a poster, inforgraphic etc. Dreamshaper is the suggested online platform to use but it is not neccessary if you do not have access.
A Powerpoint and reading is includeed.
