The current Solomon Islands Primary school subject syllabi all include Environment, conservation, and Climate Change as a Key Learning Outcome (KLO). This KLO is also a feature that runs through the subjects offered in the junior secondary school syllabi. In both the Primary and Junior secondary level, there is an emphasis on the development of positive attitudes and values towards preserving and conserving the environment and carefully adapting and managing the effects of climate change.
